Known for their genre-bending style that blends ‘pop instinct with avant-garde ambition' (Rolling Stone), the band has won plaudits from influential voices including Lauren Laverne (‘I love this band’), Zane Lowe (‘incredible band’), Clash (’surging indie pop’) The Independent (’stunning’) and Radiohead’s Philip Selway. They have been supported by the Arts Council, PRS Foundation and Help Musicians.

In theatre, they have composed the music for Dead Poets Live’s ’The Death of Arthur’ and ’Three Ages of Yeats’. They both wrote and performed the score for a new play, 'Fast Track' directed by Lucy Maycock at The North Wall, Oxford. In the worlds of dance and fashion, they have provided the soundtrack for Sara Green’s movement piece, ‘Burnt Out,’ performed at The Place, London, as well as the music for the APAR’s London Fashion Week collection and UAL’s graduate show catwalk.

They both have degrees in music, Jamie from the University of Leeds and Carlos from the University of Oxford. Jamie has twelve years of experience working as a freelance composer in sync and production music for Universal and Sony, whilst Carlos holds a masters in Cultural Studies from Goldsmiths University and brings a wealth of industry experience managing their band Low Island across three album campaigns.
